Very very interesting

I'm curious about the pop tops in general. My current van usage tends to be in poor weather during the closed season for our business so I'm often in rain / high winds / colder temperatures.

How good are pop tops in reality? Are they as well insulated as a coach built? Autotrail are fitting them to some PVCs, but doesn't that compromise the design ethos of keeping the basic panel van body intact (except for a few small openings for roof lights / vents etc)?

Does the pop top last as long as the motorhome / van or do they need the fabrics replacing after a number of years?

Don't like this at all. Like living in Lego with the added happiness of having to pull down the roof if the wind goes above 8mph..

One of the joys of having a larger motorhome is that we don't have to move or dismantle tables or beds or pee around with a jigsaw of seat cushions to make a bed. We have two permanently made up double beds, each with triple layer memory foam orthopaedic mattresses. We've got a khazi, a sink and adult-sized shower, all assembled, ready for use.

This might be for someone, but not for me. What I would be interested in Knaus doing is making a new 3500 one that DIDN'T require a bloody spanner to bed down four people.

Don't like it and that's without asking how much as that would make me like it even less

That is exactly what we want and have got.

So that is a 'No' from me.

(I must be 'mister grump no. 2')

Do like a clever bathroom (y) Only a matter of time before it's in other makes & models. Prefer our swing shower wall bathroom but smaller vans need different ideas like the Knaus one.

This will become a toilet thread if your not careful

I think I am just pleased to see some innovation and out of box thinking. I can understand the rationale. Campervan size with MoHo facilities. It is cramped but so is a camper van. The issue for me is easily accessible storage….and The decor. Will someone please tell the industry there are other colours out there other than beige.

Clever. But I honestly can't think who this is designed for?

Probably not the UK market as that would make it only usable for 6 months of the year I think?

I have a bath twice a year wether I need it or not ;)
It's a 4 berth but how many seat belts has it got?:whistle2: Would I have one, no not for half the price (y)

That shower arrangement is innovative but I wonder about how long seals around the unit will last?
I agree, it's a very out-there and clever design and will develop, but as you said, I'd dread the damp inspection...!

Ingenious, definitely. Real world practicality (steam, damp, wet), probably not.
I feel that it’s the answer to a question that nobody’s asked.
