Blimey! Of course things like that are going on, but they go on all the time to some extent. But we type about funny, sad, peculiar, horrible and mundane all the time. That is like saying the Government can only deal with the pandemic and nothing else while the pandemic is going on... Oh wait, they are not even dealing with the pandemic!Very sad day ? , YES , people are loosing their lives / love ones / health / jobs / savings / sanity / homes , half The U.K. would be ecstatic to be in your position

Hi all
phew !!!! what a mixed bag of responses !!!
i thought it was a 'light post' that people would find amusing - i really did not expect to get shot at because some people thought i was being thoughtless about other things - Captain Tom (fantastic what he did) ignoring the Pandemic - unbelieveable how could you ever disregard it. Just for reference i am recovering from Covid pneumonia and was in hospital at the end of Oct last year so i know how hard the NHS staff are working and really do not need that sort of response.
Finally 2 things, thanks to all those who saw it for what it was and responded in kind, particularly liked Aeriallmark's attempted conversion.
lastly this website is called MotorhomeFUN - Please note the final three letters - and the sub forum that we are in is called Motorhome Chat.
make of it what you will
