Any warning lights on Dash showing?
As mentioned its normally seat belt, hand brake, or door/boot open warning, sometimes lights on when parked up, Tyre Pressure monitor etc.
If its none of those then I would guess you have a German U boat under you!.:giggle:
Hope you find the problem soon.

Have you got a towbar fitted?

I had a regular beep/ping type noise from the canbus relay doofa when it failed. Took me a while to find out what it was.

Does it ping on starting engine and stationary or when you have started to move/drive?
Have you checked the passenger airbag and speed limit warning which are on the same buttons as setting the clock on the X250 type cab?

Not in the van, but I put a small tool bag on the passenger seat of the car. It kept pinging went I went round corners, when I couldn't look at the dash safely. It was the passenger seat belt warning going off when the centre of gravity changed. Fastened the seat belt .... Silence. šŸ˜†
