No we visit places on the way , don't travel far, it varies but don't mind a bit of driving in France, not really into " relaxing" very rarely sit about. If you get to a site around 4, then drive off the next morning, how do you find time to relax. Do you drive all day.?![]()

Don't do that much drinking and what we do do is early evening. And are they sober enuff to drive![]()
Tip. Hold the glass nearly always level. The first time was just to try them after buying them the only other time was one of our very rare visits to a site where we could only park like they said and was on a fair old slope but even then they sank in the grass and didn't really do much.
Now we just manoeuvre about a bit till the wine glass doesn't slide off the table and leave it at that.
From another thread, but I like the look (if not the price) of these. https://www.camping-jack.eu/product/flat-jack-camper-plus/

I think one would be usable but one for each wheel on the same axle would cause bounce when moving in the van.
A bit of bounce could be quite interesting!I think one would be usable but one for each wheel on the same axle would cause bounce when moving in the van.
I'm with you. We have used our ramps a handful of times. We have carried ramps around for 12 years now and I can only remember useing them twice.
Do you mean down or upSame here. But our van is very front low to start with. It works better with a sloping site as long it is sloping the correct way.
That is the philosophy we use, so we have never had to use our ramps - still in their packaging !I only use them when the fridge won't work.
Me too, always something better to do. Mind you, sometimes we linger if the cabaret of others setting up or packing away is particularly amusing !We just don't have the time to do all this setting up, of ramps, awnings ,BBQ , windbreaks and any other trappings, we just get there at fourish, out to the town ,bar restaurant, have a look round , back to bed.
In the morning shower, breakfast and away, nothing to put away as nothing has been got out, if there is something we want to see nearby we are straight out, when we get back , in the driving seat and off.

That's us as well, I always thought that was the difference between motorhomes and caravans, we use ours to tour, sleep and shower and toilet, that's it can't think of staying in one place more than a couple of days, no need for lounges and awnings and stuff , we are basically a traveling bed and as long as it is heads up that's near enough.I'm the same, it's got to be a serious slope for me to bother, and I don't stay any where long enough to get to settled.
In such circumstances you need wheel chocks as well for the wheels left on the ground. Very useful to have when changing a wheelBought some last year after the 2 sites in Cornwall were that bad my levelling jacks could not get anywhere near level.
The first site I asked to be moved as with the jacks and ramps my front wheels were well over a foot high
As the pitch was gravel I worried incase the van slid forward off the jacks.
Could have done with them on our latest trip as some sites were to much for the jacks.
Had he got a big dog that slept under the van?At a campsite in Greece we parked next to a German guy. He seemed quite normal but his MH was on 4 ramps.
Question: 1. was he normal and 2. why?
Saw these in use last year in France, on edge of Lac Serré Ponçon. German MH 7-8m long with family of four, had them under the front wheels to level up on a shallow slope. Thanks for the head up on this product. l might seriously consider it.
Now have a 4x4 Sprinter based MH so not pratical to have auto Levelling system, tried the Milencos and one went Banana shape after one night.
l wonder if anyone on the Forum have seen them In action?
