He could try but he might get a long winded reply pointing out that the use of solar on leisure vehicles has an untraceably small beneficial impact on our carbon footprint. However his genuine concern about global warming had so touched the hearts of the politicians that they were looking for more effective ways of reducing the impact of leisure vehicles on the environment. To this end they were now considering doubling the RFL charges on motorhomes and creating a new leisure vehicle tax throughout the UK which would significantly reduce carbon fuel use.You could try to lobby your MP to have it removed - good luck
