Van Weight Engineering

The problem is that the DVLA are only 'interested' in Revenue Weight.
Apparently it's another department that deals with Max Permissible Weight changes

I was advised that the difference might cause issues in the future
It only took two goes to get it right

I emailed vehicle5@dvla.gov.uk and the corrected V5 recieved in 4 days!

I used e-mail as they are a team of 2 and invariably on the phone or making an inspection? Always got a reply within a few hours (before and after I had paid).
