Autosleeper Warwick
I'm sure there must be many posts on this and I'm happy to be directed to them.

Just bought a 2008 AutoSleeper Warwick Duo. Take delivery on Monday.

I suspect it only has the standard Peugeot Boxer immobiliser/alarm system.

I'm thinking of fitting one of these mobile network type alarm/camera systems. I'm imagining an internal camera that if somebody breaks in I get an alert on my mobile, maybe a siren, and I can see inside the van and even talk to the intruder.

I would also like to have a steering wheel lock or a wheel lock.

Can anyone tell me what works best for them?

Came across a YouTube last night that tested 10 security items - all on an Audi TT. A ‘tame car thief ‘ put them to the test - most were defeated in under 60 seconds - disc lock included - simply drilled out the lock. The only one that took under 3 minutes was a hidden ‘kill switch’ . It amazes me to put it mildly!

Thats why I said a actual hard wired full immobiliser is really the only thing that "works". We've never thought a disc lock would last the time for us to drive the 13 mi to the van.

Lock picking lawyer on youtube when compared with the lock types on these "security" products is laughable. I've done training in picking locks and most of these products could trivially be popped by anyone with skill too (as in sub 30s withotu even needing drilling). If you ever get chance to go to a lock picking village at a security conference I would suggest doing so, as it makes you re-evaluate any product with a "lock".
