Hi Freestyle

Glad you have decided to join us. We'll be looking our for you on Saturday.

I'll add you to our list.

Pammy

With little under 2 weeks away, are there any more takers for this meet.

Looks like it is going to be a great occasion with a lovely meal booked for the Saturday night (if you want it of course).

We also have a special birthday to celebrate as well.

C'mon you lot, don't let the cold weather put you off, it's nice and warm in the motorhomes - and in the pub.:Rofl1:

Pammy

What time are we all arriving?

I am hoping to be there on Thursday around 3pm

Would love this weather to last:Smile:

We setting off from Basingstoke about 10am Friday morning so, all being well, we should arrive at 2pm.
See you all then

Doug 'n Bar

Hi

I'm hoping we will arrive just before lunch on Friday.

The weather forecast don't seem too bad, no rain expected but is said to be turning colder by Thursday. I think we can all count our blessings that no snow is predicted - so that is a blessing and a sign that it is going to be a fun weekend.

There are some spaces left if someone wants to add their names at the last minute.

See you there.

Pammy

Hi all,

We'll probably arrive around lunchtime on the Friday........then I can sample the real ale.....again.

Jock.

Us too - depending upon the traffic. I mean arriving at lunchtime, and possibly the beer too!!

Unfortunately we won't be able to make it this weekend - One of the main computer systems at work has died and I need to be there this weekend to fix it. It has to wait until weekend unfortunately as we need to shut down the whole site as part of the fix.

We are GUTTED to be missing out but I'm sure a great time will be had by all if New Year was anything to go by!

Have a great time everybody and we hope to meet up with you all very soon (Newark, if not before).

looking at the map should I come off the A1 onto the A607 and turn through Denton?
I can't make my mind up between M25 and A1 or A34, M40, M69 to Leicester and then up the A607. Either way works but which is the best route as I get to within a few miles of Belvoir?

Cheers
Doug

Ash you thinking of wearing that slinky little black number that you keep for special occasions :Rofl1: :shout:

Denton Worked for us..:thumb:

The following routing info was posted before our last visit to the Dirty Duck..

Those with larger motorhomes would be advised to avoid entering from the A52 and the preferred route would be via A607 following signs for Belvoir Castle.

This preferred route avoids a double S bend of narrow hump back bridges with sharp left and right turns.

Dress code

Hi Ash

There isn't really a dress code, you should wear what you feel comfortable in.

Geo says he will be wearing his whistle and flute with his special valentine waistcoat.

See you there very soon.

Hi Bryan,

Sorry to hear that you and Suzy can't join us. Rita and I were looking forward to meeting up with you both again.........and I was looking forward to some IT tuition on the laptop.:Laughing::Laughing:

Take it easy at work this weekend Bryan. Just send Suzy on her own in "the beast". We'll all look after her, whilst you resign yourself to a couple of lonesome TV dinners. :Rofl1:
