You keep going on that you are his 'carer ' that will make you eligible for the jabI've just checked and hubby is eligible (he's 64) but I'm not (only 57) so I'll book him in.

Yes my thinking too......... £10,000 fine coming their way I hope - if traced.I wonder if the chap purposely put down wrong info on the form so he couldn't be contacted ... if so he/she could be in for a fine as well so no wonder he/she is hiding!
From what I read., the sample was sent in without the form completed. So the person was happy to engage in providing a sample but failed to complete paperworkI wonder if the chap purposely put down wrong info on the form so he couldn't be contacted ... if so he/she could be in for a fine as well so no wonder he/she is hiding!
I would have thought it wouldn't be that difficult to trace him/her, the airline will have the details of everyone on the flight, assuming all the others filled in their details correctly you are left with the person they are looking for.I wonder if the chap purposely put down wrong info on the form so he couldn't be contacted ... if so he/she could be in for a fine as well so no wonder he/she is hiding!
I think the issue is where he/she has gone to, I'm sure I heard something on the telly about the person not being at the location they'd stated or something like that.I would have thought it wouldn't be that difficult to trace him/her, the airline will have the details of everyone on the flight, assuming all the others filled in their details correctly you are left with the person they are looking for.
My surgery booked both jabs but FIL's surgery only book the first one. It is up to the surgery to work out how they do it. Also when I was given the second date I was told it is only a provisional date, and may change depending on availabilityFortunately I have had my first vaccination as I am on the clinically extremely vulnerable list . I received It at the beginning of February after receiving a text from my gps surgery late one night inviting me to book it. Very efficient service and thanks to those many kind people involved in the process. After having this first jab I asked the obvious question of when will I get my second one? to be told they would be in touch. A friend of mine who is not clinically extremely vulnerable went on line yesterday and successfully booked both his first and second vaccines . I tried the same on line booking service to see if I could firm up a date for my second jab and relieve the anxiety of not knowing. It would not let me and referred me back to my GP surgery. Guess that once your in that system of booking that’s where you stay? Don’t mean to sound selfish or ungrateful but would really have liked to have a date for my second jab . Has anyone else on here experienced this issue?
Go with him Minxy Girl, they may well take pity on you and give you a jab especially if you say you are his carer .I've just checked and hubby is eligible (he's 64) but I'm not (only 57) so I'll book him in.
I've already thought of that!Go with him Minxy Girl, they may well take pity on you and give you a jab especially if you say you are his carer .
Brother-in-law and wife living near Brecon aged 70+ had their jabs weeks agoRubbish in Wales , no vaccine available where I live , 3 months off 65 and no chance, he will open up the country and we have no protection xx
On the news now they have norrowed the search for the sixth case down to 379 houses in the S/E of EnglandI think the issue is where he/she has gone to, I'm sure I heard something on the telly about the person not being at the location they'd stated or something like that.
S/he should 'give themselves up' otherwise there'll be no mitigation to the £10k fine heading their way.On the news now they have norrowed the search for the sixth case down to 379 houses in the S/E of England
Yep, had my first one 5 weeks ago and when I asked the lady with the hyperdeemic nerdle she told me my health centre would contact me with a date for the second one. Not worried; still 7 weeks to go.Fortunately I have had my first vaccination as I am on the clinically extremely vulnerable list . Same for Portugal according to my brother, only mayor and their familiesHad a message from a friend in Spain, no vaccination there not even for doctors and health care professionals, only the Mayor and staff so far
I thought that! but is worrying as would mean he/she was not likely to be planning to keep to quarantine either?I wonder if the chap purposely put down wrong info on the form so he couldn't be contacted ... if so he/she could be in for a fine as well so no wonder he/she is hiding!
That’s what annoys me most, bragging they are ahead, but my postman has just told me I will get mine next week, he made my day xAbsolutely nothing that I am aware of for Wales... Tried for over an hour to reach our GP today (Hawarden) about my own jab to get feedback on when it would be my turn (57 with asthma) and got to #1 on the list but they simply don't answer... Emailed the surgery, radio silence, Tweeted Mark Drakeford and his cronies... radio silence
SWMBO managed to reach the GP a few weeks ago about hers and they said "why are you asking, you're only 55".... "because I have cancer" was her reply.... "oh, in that case you can have an appointment tomorrow"
I'm actually pretty sorry we moved here at this point as I feel we are living in the dark ages compared to 10 minutes away across the border but we didn't foresee these issues.... For any other health treatment we can elect to be treated in England but not it seems for the vaccine...
Pissed isn't the word... If you read the Welsh government's press they are pulling trees up re the pace of vaccinations but I call it bullshit
EDIT, our GP actually responded to my email and confirmed they are still dealing with the over 65’s... ridiculous considering the size of the population. The surgery are “following government guidelines” which means that Mark Drakeford has had the chicken bones out again
I have found an old fashioned letter to our doctor works well, if we phone often the message does not get passed on, our surgery has no email available for us to use, so I type a letter and put it in their letterbox. I don't know if it is because they find it harder to ignore something with a paper trail, or if it just gets to the doctor but always had a good response to a letter.Tried for over an hour to reach our GP today
Myself & the boss had ours over three weeks ago .Got vaxed at a local centre, Did not get dates for 2ndFortunately I have had my first vaccination as I am on the clinically extremely vulnerable list .
