Hi
Only had our molly a few months and not used shower yet, used on site facilities.
Whats the best way to use to get the most out of onboard shower and are there shower heads you can use to increase pressure?

We bought one of these - trigger on the head , adjustable spray for “crevices” enables you to get the shower going and temp set then just use the head switch to rinse etc

It’s the ladies that are the problem. Us blokes like to shower at a reasonable temp, whereby SWMBO likes it steaming or it’s too cold.

Same with quilts in the summer. SWMBO is still under her 10.5 and only just given up her 13.5 🥵

Also, I can’t be doing with one of those trigger shower heads, as parts of the showering process requires both hands.

I fitted one of these, which are very very good. Did a quick test, by running the standard shower head for a minute and measured the water usage and again with the new head fitted. Quite a difference in water reduction and extra pressure and times that by the 3 hours she’ll spend in there and you’re quids in. SWMBO also reports that her hair and skin feel better when showering in the jollybus.

Use one of them at home but its too heavy for the holder on the shower rail in the van.

Fit a temperature blending valve to the shower hot inlet and set it to the temperature that you like to shower at
This gives you a constant hot water temperature without the risk of getting scolded and wasting very hot water.
There’s lots of water saving shower heads on the market.
Happy showering.
do you have a link for the blending valve please

Peglar and Bristan are among the better manufacturers.

I'm quite small but one of our requirements when choosing a new van is a decent shower as it gets used nearly every day we are away in the van. Current one could fit both of us in if we wanted.
The ultimate water saving shower

The more pressure the more it uses water. When we shower it’s a quick blast then a soap down all over then a rinse off. I’m more frugal with water when I have to collect it.
Phil

Same.

Wet a bit, wash that bit, shower of the soapy bit.

Start at the top and work down.

10 L of Water 💦!!!to wash hair???
both my wife and I will shower every day and use that amount of water over 2 days!! That includes making tea and coffees 🔫💦
We'd use 10L just on tea

A small water saving if, like me, you wash your hair every day. First wet from head to foot apply shampoo, then soap up body then rinse the lot. I can do this easily in less than 10L of water.
Even easier if you use the same gel for hair and body, which I dont, Head and shoulders rules, I have used it for 50 odd years without going bald and no dandruff.
It doesn't stop the greying hair though! ::bigsmile:
Tend to use the shampoo for body too ... (aahem ... being male and slightly hairy ). Saves on space and payload vs cost.
