Does the livenet app still open your internet connection for others to use when you are not using the connection? This was mentioned about a year ago.. It was hidden in the T&Cs that the app does this... but since most people just skip the T&Cs they just agreed to them using your connection and selling it for other to use...

Never new that but only use it with site WiFi when in Spain worked great last year.

we used an EE unlimited data sim on one of phones in France and Germany Iplayer just worked we do have a SIM I purchased in Europe and Iplayer did not work with that

You won't have a problem with a UK SIM.
