Hi, I had new shock absorbers and springs fitted to my 2003 Fiat Ducato Swift kontiki.
It’s been fine on the motorways but awful on bad roads - I hit one pothole and the emergency fuel cutoff operated.
I’ve taken some photos of the top of the shock absorber on the drivers side and it doesn’t look right to me - it looks like the top nut hasn’t been fully tightened and I think there should be a bump stop there as well. Of course it’s Sunday, so no-one is open but do we have any mechanics who could look at the pictures?
I’m at Loch Lomond at the m, hoping to travel on to Campbeltown and then Skye and quite a few more islands, but won’t if it’s not safe.
