Rally Upton Blues Festival Meet 19-23 July 2018

A much nicer atmosphere than Sunshine, lots of puddles of good music all over town rather than full in yer face mega decibels. A big street party.

UPDATE: Whilst at Sunshine Festival the Upton Blues Festival Chairman dropped by to see our area & we are hopeful that a Fun Meet will be possible As this one is run by volunteers & the profits go back into the local community it is unlikely that a cordoned off area will be possible as barriers are an additional cost but hopefully either first dibs again on the small field or first chance to pitch in a bigger one before others join us once the main camping field is full. We will do our best & definitely another trip to the Flava Indian Restaurant would be great!

We've no experience of that, quite different camping from Blues and Sunshine and more expensive, you know how tight FUNsters can be ! Upton is a very industrious little town.

I know that the shopkeepers in Upton prefer the Blues festival-goers to the Jazz ones. A difference in attitude apparently.
