Hi, If you know the rear facing camera that produces two different angles of view when driving or reversing, can you tell me is it a direct replacement for the single version or does it need extra cables?
Thanks.

I very much doubt that it will require a 2nd cable. The digital data will be decoded by firmware at the VDU screen end.

Thanks for your reply.
My original camera is 20 years old so is analogue and terminates on a male RCA plug. No digits here!

I'm planning to replace the single camera with a double analogue to work with the current entertainment centre and am looking for cabling guidance.

As far as I know if you have two cameras in a single housing you will need two cables to the screen unit?
Are you thinking of the Camos camera? For that I don't know. Best to contact them.

Normal arrangement is two cables one for each camera.

You can get switch units that you can feed both cameras into then you just need to run a trigger wire to a switch at the front of the van.
