So.. Renology did not think my enquiry worth answering, I did revisit Epever thing with a view to setting it up correctly ( though having visited their actual sit it seems the model I have works fine on gel setting as the bulk charge is set to 14.6 ) and then I looked at what 99% of you guys have..
So I have bit the bullet and pulled the trigger on the Alpha Batteries one at £187

And NOW I understand why Victron are so popular
First impressions are, how well made it is and how solid it feels
How good ( so far ) the instructions are
Makes the Epevery seem very down market ( though to be fair it does work very well )
