This is what I've got, and this is what I have to connect to. The 6 page 5"x4" manual couldn't be understood by a chinaman.
Any light you could throw would be appreciated

Okay, I have the same connectors on our Boxer and I used one of these. If your in a hurry for one, then you can get one from a UK supplier for 3 times the price.
Mine took about 10 day to arrive from China.
Don't worry that it says that it is for a VW, it will work.

What a gentleman - thank you very much

When you get your unit fired up it's likely you will find that there is no provision in the settings for the Peugeot steering wheel controls, or at least I could not find one that would work but there is an alternative if you want the radio controls closer to hand.

It's ordered hopefully in about 10 days. Not too worried about the steering wheel controls, I've got short arms but not too short.
Annoyingly radio was sent with the wrong surround ie not the one shown in the picture so unless I can get them to replace it, I will have to fashion my own from plastic strips

I take it that yours came with a fascia like this with gaps at the top and the bottom like this if you offer the fascia up to your dash?

If so, then I found that you can cut away parts of the fascia at the bottom to get it to sit in the right position against the dash opening.
I then bought one of these fascias off of eBay and cut off the lower section so it fills the top gap and extends a little under the supplied fascia for the supplied fascia to fit against.

If you go the route I have, then you will end up with it looking like this when done, sorry it needs dusting.
Give me a yell if you need more info when you are fitting it.

Ordered.
I'll save myself sometime and install the other cables tomorrow or Monday. I think I owe you a pint or two for saving me time and aggravation, hopefully catch up at a rally in the near future.
Cheers

Mine is on side of van above passenger door the radio at mo is a crapy cheep one so any upgrade is improvement 😉
Think ill upgrade aerial aswell
I replaced the aerial with a specific DAB one. It was really fiddly getting access to the nut inside but I eventually got it done. Difference is amazing. I tried one of those stick-on windscreen aerials but it was useless.

Do you mean the nut on the aerial fixing to side of the van?

Yes. It's a PVC and the inside of the aerial connector was covered by the interior conversion panelling and insulation. Very difficult to get at and had to be done largely blind by feel. Once the antenna was replaced it was a straightforward job routing the cabling and connecting it.
