Upcoming trip to North Wales.

Rhug Farm Shop and/or The Sun Trevor Inn are good first stops in North Wales.
Have driven past Rhug farm shop a couple years ago. They used to allow overnight stops in the car park but they would like you to buy from the shop.
We are heading along the A55 after Mold going to Caenarvon then down the A487 coastal road then A470 then A458 to Welshpool.
Nowhere near Rhug unfortunately.
Yes I suppose we arn't ok far away when we visit Chirk castle but it would be a bit of a detour since the next stop is Welshampton area.

They still allow overnights. Stopped there a few weeks back and had a great walk round the farm to see the bison then back along the river. Didn’t buy from the shop but had a great breakfast there before heading off the next morning.
The Sun Trevor is right on the Llangollen Canal and an easy 2 mile walk one way to Llangollen and the other way to the Pontcysillte aqueduct. Ideally located
