UP-PLATING Burstner 726G

I've had another thought over the weekend and wondered what you think:
I should have the new weight plates and paperwork from SVtech in plenty of time for our trip, but almost certainly not from DVLA...now as I'm only changing the rear axel limit and the gross overall weight is remaining as it is at 3850 I'm thinking of not sending the V5c off before I go as the V5 doesn't show the axel weights and I'll have the new plates on the vehicle.....what's thoughts on this idea? I've seen 2 YouTubers that have been pulled and weighed in the last month and they seem to only refer to V5 and plate, can't imagine they'd be querying the DVLA database, plus I'll have the SV docs to back up.
Roadside checks (certainly in UK, and I expect elsewhere) will look at the vehicle plate to see what the axle and gross weights are. As the gross weight is not changing, then I would do what you are proposing. just stick the new SV Tech plate on and enjoy the knowledge that you have protected yourself against overloading the rear axle.

1. Light wheels - upto 3650

2. Heavy wheels - 4t+

Where is this info from? As Burstner supplied the vehicle from new with the ones you show as max 3650 but played at 3850 and SV tech say they happy to go to 4000kg with the images I've sent of the wheels & tyres.

I think there has to be a per wheel limit similar to the tyres load rating?

I had light wheels on my burstner and was it was originally plated to 3850kg with these light wheels which is classed as light chassis ,
But since then I have changed my wheels/tyres etc and up plated to 4250 kg ,
Your ok so relax 👍

Thats from the Rapido catalogue, they give you the option of wheels when ordering?
