un-manned service stations

If you were to differentiate between fuel stations that are manned in the day but set on auto over night, and fully automated fuel stations that are never manned, is there a difference for you?

We have had card trouble only in the fully automated ones within say 80k of Lille, but never anywhere else.

Have used fully automated and auto over night fuel stations with no problems at all.
