As it states pollution does not stay in the country it was created in, exactly my argument when I point out that we contribute approx 1% to the worlds pollution, if you want to solve the problem it’s not this country that want to get a grip !

it didn't state pollution does not stay in a country I did. My point is that if you read the research it will highlight the damage that is done to the human body young or old. If you live near a major road your health can be affected by the pollution. that 1% does not include the manufacturing and transportation of the goods we import and have manufactured overseas all we have done is shifted the polution not reduced it, so we really cannot claim to be pure.

The worlds population is around 7.8 Billion people with 67 Million people in the uk equates to 0.78% of the worlds population. Even if we take the flag waving 1% we are still producing a high amount of pollution per head of the UK's population ( and that as I pointed out does not including the offshored manufacturing etc).......more work needed me thinks

Burnham and his free (£10 charge if you want one) bus passes for 16-18yr olds.
All Council tax payers in GM have to pay extra to subsidise the so called Free Bus Passes.
Look At Me Andy Numpty Burnham, aren’t I good coming up with this Idea.

It’s a bit like the young naive UTD footballer Rashford lobbying for FREE SCHOOL MEALS.
Young boy Rashford, there is NO such thing as a free school meal.

For Political balance, here is a conservative one, to be honest I think the councils are trying to do the right thing but until we have EV's its always going to be an issue. Don't forget central government have reduced the money given to councils (of all persuasions).

I think you will find that Rochdale is run by the Labour Party, and the structure for everyone to suddenly turn to EV’s is not in place. Everyone was encouraged to turn to diesel as it was better for the environment, now it’s considered evil and we should all go electric, they will wake up one day and decide that electric is not the answer.

Everyone was encouraged to turn to diesel as it was better for the environment, now it’s considered evil

Historically Diesel was for heavy machinery, when Diesel was first being pushed it raised eyebrows in terms of the claims being made. You may recall Diesel was much lower in cost for a while than Petrol to encourage take up of Diesel cars.

What you are highlighting here is the power of industry lobbying a self interested group in the petrochemical industry who wanted for whatever reason to sell more Diesel.

Burnham has completely cocked up everything he has turned his hand to, he knows he has made a complete mess of the GM caz and is now blaming everybody else and thinks that by taking over public transport is the answer, when services are slashed, timetables are ruined and the standard of public transport goes downhill and fares rise so less and less people use them then he will find a scapegoat to blame and go crying to the government for more money as he usually does.

Slightly off topic but just checked my PPVC V5 and nothing against Euro status ! Checked same vehicle on DVLA site and same nothing stated so as 2015 Peugeot Boxer based with Ford engine assume Euro 5
