Planning a trip to Denia in mid January. We will drive through France to the Mediterranean coast and then into Spain on the A9/E15. Will we require snow chains?

We have Michelin Cross Climate tyres fitted which have the M&S rating.

Thanks.

If they have the 3 peaks symbol you will be fine.

Thank you all for the replies. I had searched the topic but there have been recent rule changes so wanted the latest position. We should be alright with the Cross Clmates.

We’ve been in Denia since 16th Dec. 15-20 degrees max. Are you staying or just passing through?

Hopefully, we’ll be staying for a month.
I say hopefully because it depends if we get in at the campsite we’ve stayed at four times previously.

Los Pinos. Beer’s waiting :)

How long have you been there and how long you staying? We swam in the sea there two years ago this time of year!

16th Dec to 29th Feb. Haven’t put a toe in the sea yet :-)

Are there any spaces do you think? Last year they were full but we didn’t try and stay. In fact we never made it to Spain at all last year. Hope our paths cross! Have fun.

Yes, Cross Climate not terrain. Too much John Smiths last evening! Bought and fitted this year (April) but they do have the 3peaks symbol.
