Hi guys, my 10 month old Ducato pvc came with Michelin Agilis 225/75 r16 116 Q tyres. Just got a flat so thinking on changing all 4 to Michelin Crossclimate camping 225/75 r16 116 R.

I will need to get hold of a mobile tyre fitter to come to my home to do the job, just a bit concerned regards damage to the alloy wheel when they do the change. Not had alloys before that were unmarked condition, am I worrying for nothing?

So you guys go with the van version of the crossclimates and not camping version?
I did as I found the 80psi of camping tyres shook my fillings out. Depends on how long your vehicle is left standing for when not in yse I think

We never leave it standing for .ore than 4 weeks. Just concerned 65 psi might give odd tyre wear?

I'm guessing thousands of commercial vehicles and motorhomes are doing hundreds of thousands of miles on them without problem - else they wouldn't sell many. I've done 20,000+ on mine without odd wear

Camper tyres are a myth. Vans which invariably run at full load every hour of every day don't have specialist tyres fitted which have strengthened side walls due to weight nor do camper tyres give you more grip on wet surfaces. They're actually noiser and raise fuel consumption.
It's another one up there with roadside gassing, TPMS & blue hosepipes. Most of this stuff is designed for people who still think parking on a slope effects gas flow to fridges, leaving your van on EHU is unsafe and CD players are luxury.

I went from horrible Agilis to some Nexxans much better comfort and handling
I did the same and switched to Continental VanContact All Season, running 51/62 psi for my axle weights.
Once tuned off a specific product, I tend not to go to the same manufacturer for something else.
