Tyre inflator

If like me you have a number of DeWalt tools and hence batteries, then the DeWalt tyre inflater is a good buy.
I like the idea of a De Walt inflator that shares existing batteries but I can't find that they do one. Any more information on the model please?

This is the one I have which I think was shown in a link by another poster previously in this thread.

Added a photo to give an idea of size. It is fast, strong as goes to a high pressure , cordless which wins hands down on convenience, can be set to a pressure so you can start it inflating and walk away and battery lasts well.

Wouldn’t personally go back to a compressor or corded version having it used it several times now. Highly recommended.

looks a nice bit of kit

What’s up with an old manual foot pump, & the wife. It will keep her fit in the process.
This is intended as a “JOKE”, before anyone climbs out of their Pram!
😂😂😂
I've got a manual double cylinder foot pump. At 75psi I have to jiggle up and down with both feet on it to get more air in the tyre.

Rechargeable (cordless) and will plug into 12 volt socket if needed. Will inflate a to 80 psi. (rated to 125 psi)Automatic stop at pre-set pressure. Has LED torch too.

I'm very impressed with it. If using to inflate to 80psi using the battery it won't last long but fine for topping up or using on cars/cycles. If you need to pump up form 0 -80 psi on a motorhome you will need to plug it in.
Mine just burnt out on the third tyre 🙄

Excellent - I hadn't spotted the battery! Looks the same battery as I have so might give it a go. My De Walt tools have always been good.
Many thanks!

Although I don't think that anyone except Morelo & RS owners, needs heavy duty inflators, I found the single-cylinder Ring 900 lacked puff, then blew a fuse and so it was relegated to the car.

I tried one other cheapo compressor and found it was suitable for bicycles and beach inflatables only.

Tirewell do an excellent dual compressor that is quiet, very powerful and twenty quid cheaper than the Ring. I got one of these and it is perfect. I connect straight to the leisure battery, rather than the fag socket. Gets to 80 psi without even getting warm.
