2004 Swift Sundance
I have two annoying beeping sounds in my MH, and would appreciate some help in finding what they are, and how to stop them please . . .

It's a 2004 Swift Sundance, Fiat Ducato

I have read many online posts regarding beeping sounds, and can't find any that emulate the issues that we have.
It has a Sigma alarm, and an OmniStep electric step fitted.
No tow bar/electrics fitted.
it's definitely not a low/dead leisure battery alarm, or carbon monoxide detector causing the beeps.

First beep comes from the dashboard (somewhere around the radio).
It's loud enough to hear over the sound of the radio, and only happens when driving.
It's an intermittent thing, and may not sound for 20 or so miles, and other times it happens twice in a minute.
As you will appreciate, this is not a sound you want on a 150 mile journey !

The second beep is the one that really bugged me overnight on Saturday (our first outing in the van)
It's a different beeping sound, and seems to be coming from the wardrobe (Says the Mrs).
The fuse box and charger controller live in there, and the water heater tank is in the area below.
This beep went off intermittently for a couple of hours, and then stopped.
I did notice that the charger control box was switched on, and we were not on hook up. Would this have caused this wardrobe beeping sound?
Again, a beeping sound is not what one wants when trying to sleep !

Any pointers and tips will be gratefuly received

Thank you

On the Autotrail I once got a beeping sound ,not very loud and no warning lights seems to coming from the dash area took ages to find it. It turns out that when I drop the jacks the beeping starts but it's not the alarm for the jacks themselves it's the drivers door that just needs opening and closing and it stops. What's strange is that the door does not ordinarily beep when open.

Hi, the beep coming from the radio is the traffic announce warning, if the radio isnt getting a good enough signal for traffic announcements it beeps at you.
Had the same with my 2003 Autotrail apache drove me bonkers, turn off TA and it'll stop doing it, assuming its the same radio.
Cant help with the other one.
Regards
Bob
I have Swift Sundance 590RL and the beep from the dash was very annoying unt I changed the radio (didn’t hold the station very well) and the beep went too!
Good luck with finding the other one

I spent ages listening all around my kitchen trying to trace an annoying beeping/whistling sound. I eventually found that it was coming from my dear 85 yr old neighbour's hearing aid whilst she was out of sight gardening the other side of my fence.

Having checked the radio yesterday, the TA was activated. I held the button in and it made the beeping sound, so that's one beep eliminated !
I know what you mean about the signal fading, I seem to be forever having to adjust the thing.
Out of interest, when you replaced the head unit was it a simple plug & play affair ?

Our 'Beep' was caused by a deliberately hidden (long story) smoke alarm low batt alarm...eventualy found it by having 4 sets of ears to locate it

Yes ish!!! I plugged in wires like for like but didn’t work (checked after I’d skinned knuckles wriggling it back in!) but after a Google I had to reverse a wire -not sure why but it worked. Reception still fades in and out though!

Having just spent two nights away in the van at Dodwell Park, Stratford Upon Avon, I am delighted to report absolutely no annoying beeping sounds.
The 'dash beep' was certainly the TA setting being on, and not having sufficient signal to pick up the relevant station.
The second beep (somewhere near the wardrobe) has not made a single beep since.
