Rally Twin Lakes, France meet - May 1st - May 22nd 2015

We are leaving the UK late on Friday 15th with our friends, 2 units should be at Twin Lakes Sunday or Monday staying for 2 or 3 days do you think we need to book or just turn up.
Electric would be handy but not essential.
Looking forward to our first trip across the water.

Chris&Trish
We give Twin Lakes a ring to let them know when we are coming looking to meeting you all

Hello all,
We have over-nighted at Tesco Dover.
Lovely breakfast in their cafe and still in good time for our 10 o'clock sailing to Dunkirk. Mega.

Yes, that will be no problem.

Hi JaG we're thinking about nipping up to Twin Lakes for Sunday Lunch! Whats on the menu? Don't say Fish, because I worry about them! they must be soaked through being out side in this rain:eek:

Probably rustle up a cheese sandwich, lol. No cooking here but some good restaurants, as you know. Today it is bread for the fish...tomorrow it will be bread with a size 8 hook.

Don't worry, I don't like drowning worms either! hence the harpoon gun:cool:

I am beginning to worry that I will be the only NON worm dangler at this gathering!

JJ
Fear not JJ, there are many non worm dangling folk here. Some of those that are will be 'sheer luck' anglers. :reel: Plenty of fun around here, never a dull moment. :clap2: The rain has stopped (for now) :notworthy2:and everyone is rejoicing. Besides JJ, I have a pile of Fray Bentos pies outside my van which have to be eaten by 16th...so that gives you a two day lee way, lol.

I bet the "16" refers to 2016 and not May 16th!

Anyway, Rufty Tufty Freeloaders don't worry about "use by" dates...

'Perfect picture Phil. Leave it exactly where it is', said Julia.
'Not right sure you can leave it in the middle of the road though Phil, especially with the cable dangling across the road. I may be wrong but...it could be a bit of a problem', said Norman

JJ a good sulk after a bad season

I know Mr Bard, I know...

Only 2nd in the Prmier League...

Only highest scorers in the Premier League...

Only certain for place in next Champions' League...

just shown a profit but only 5 points ahead of Man(ure) and 9 points ahead of the Scouse mob.

But I ease my huge disappointment by reminding myself that some unfortunate souls are West Ham fans. :rofl:

Just like to thank Mr an Mrs JaG and all the other Funsters for making us so welcome on our first meet at Twin Lakes yesterday, its surprising what a bit of Sunshine can do, I'm trying to send some more up to you today, but will bring some with us towards the end of the month.
For those non worm danglers, You aint gonna believe this :doh:They are feeding the obese fish PRAWNS!!! I saw a couple of panicky incidences where they had a "bite" but I think it was more of a "suck" because I never saw a Fish, only a prawn less hook appear from the depths. I have this mind image of a lot of obese fish reposing on the bottom of the lake like Roman Emperors, being fed Prawns from the Gods above.

:birthday:Many Happy Returns Jean:birthday:
:party2:HAVE A GOOD 'UN:party2:
Sorry we couldn't make it:groan:

Regards
