TV License Fee.. what for ?

'Cor blimey - best value ever - stop moaning.

The BBC and (commercial stations) are the best in the world.

Brilliant eclectic mix of radio and TV programmes

News, music, documentaries, sport, nature whatever...................

A window on the world in sound and vision - with no b****y adverts.

I drive 4000 miles a month and the radio is a constant companion and is worth its' weight in gold - literally.

Over and out..David

Couldn't agree more.

I'm a fan of documentaries and watch any on anything! BBC have always excelled at making damn good documentary film and at 39 pence a day it's dirt cheap viewing.

The moaners on here will think nothing of peeing twenty or thirty times that amount down the drain in just one evening.

Don't you get fed up of the dumbing down, padding and FLASH/Burp/Fart/Swoosh of today ?

I watched Horizon on quantum physics the other week, it was a good ten minute program padded out with pointless crap to fill an hour. Same shots time after time.

It was all summed up by one guy "we don't know what is going on".

When we get really lucky we might get a whole fifteen minute program padded out.

Better than nothing I guess.

Do you remember Raymond Baxter and...and...who was that nutty professor of the same period ????? Proper job they did.

Was it Professer Hientz Wolf you were thinking of.(not sure about the spelling)

Good try - he was later with the Egg Race. Great Character. Great show. Scrapheap challenge for the delicate but clever.

No, I picture a Jewish looking round faced older man with glasses, dark hair ( so not Albert ). Government adviser ?

It was long ago.
