Yup, he's very un pc, he even managed to slip in a dig about Jehovah's witnesses too, but he does seem to be a very capable vet with a well appointed surgery ?

I'm pretty thick skinned but when someone is saying things that are way OTT, which it appears he does as part of his normal conversation, and would be offensive to me and more so to those who are the target of such comments, then no matter how 'funny' he thinks they are, and regardless of how good he is otherwise, it isn't something I'd be prepared to accept so he won't get my business ever and I'm surprise others would want to go to him too.

If that's the vet that makes very un-PC remarks about the war etc, other nationalities, then I wouldn't go anywhere near him!

I thought he was quite a nice guy actually, I find many of today's German's refreshingly sanguine. Its still good fun to provoke them over the Greeks pensions though

do you mean 'flexi'? They were always £239 one way even long before covid & when frequent travellers were £44. so haven't gone up much, not that I'd ever use them.

No the Flexi is about £200/£300 each way on top of the refundable one. Refundable came in after covid I believe as I’d never seen it previously and used it twice this year but it’s correct that you can’t use the Tesco points to book it - small print - which was disappointing.
