hi all,i have a truma solar panel which i cant seem to get a reading from on meter,it looks like has not worked for sometime,as also never had a reading from battery,i did have a truma sdc10 controller, but have changed to mppt controller and fixed a blown fuse on battery side,so i now have a reading from battery but no power from solar panel and its sunny,my question is,do they have a fuse somewhere from controller to panel?ive looked inside but see nothing and outside maybe possibly a connection under solar panel but cant see properly.anyone know the ins and outs of these panels?and are they costly to replace? thanks

Solar panels are at an all time low in price, you can get a 400w one for around 60-70£… lots of suppliers about…👍🏼

hello,so to answer my own question,no the solar panel has no fuse,i took it off roof and had a good look, very basic, wire in,round the solar panel and back out, tested for continuity and all good, next, cleaned it all down, very dirty, put it all back together and hey presto, voltage reading on multimeter, dont have clue if fixed anything, loose connection,or just the dirt stopping it,but all now seems to work:giggle:(y)
