Hi, just got a 2020 Swift Select 144 campervan which has the “inet ready” truma panel. Can’t locate the control box to allow remote bluetooth operation, checked behind the main control panel and it’s not there, any ideas?

I can understand people asking what the point of the iNet X panel is, but for someone like me who has torn their hair out everytime I have tried to use the CP panel because the black knob wouldn't register the required action it's like a breath of fresh air. Also, having the drop down bed, it means I can put the heating on using my phone without clambering over my partner. £250 well spent in my opinion.

Fair comment, the CP panel black knob does have a bad habit of slipping down it’s shaft to the point it will not register the push and bluetooth operation when close by is better than no remote control at all. The disappointing bit is that the discontinued iNet box also had sim card connectivity and losing this facility is a backward step.

The worse thing about the iNet X is no timer, who wants to wake up to a cold van and no hot water for a shower.

I suppose it's possible, given that they can issue software updates via WiFi, that a timer could be introduced later? (I'm a technophobe so I may not appreciate the limitations of software updates though!)

There are people that have managed to simulate an inet box and got wifi functionality. One of them has even put all details online: https://github.com/mc0110/inetbox2mqtt
You need some Arduino programing skills.

Just installed my old iNet box in my new Malibu Van having removed it from my Carthago. It is the only device I have reused so far.
