Truma lpg and electric heater/hot water, or JP diesel copy. What would you choose?

Currently Truma blown air system installed.

I have refillable lpg already fitted.
Hot water still works at present, but heating has packed up altogether.

I live in the van.

I had exactly the same problem.
My JP diesel works pretty well. Nice to not have to look for LPG filling stations!

Hi Roger
That's good to hear. I think you may have a new customer.
I have messaged you.

LPG Is relatively easy to find where I live now but if I move back to Devon, it's a different story.

Although my new truma boiler is currently working fine, I know it will get temperamental if I ever need to plug in to mains. Not a big fan of the new Truma stuff and certainly not a fan of their policy of not supplying any spares for their perfectly fixable older models.

My truma 4002 has packed up yesterday, don't know if spares are available, haven't looked into fault yet. Is Thier a UK supplier/ fitted for jp diesel heaters?

We do JP and general diesel heater installations.
Not sure if there are other dealers that do the installations - mostly DIY enthusiasts etc. There is a local chap that sells them, if you're interested I can find his details. Last I checked his prices are much higher than buying direct from JP.

I still have a Truma Combi 6E for sale, one of the 220 volts elements isn’t working, but works perfectly on gas, I replaced it with the Combi diesel, if interested,

Have you sold the 6E or can you send a link to an advert? TIA
