Hi all looking for advice, it was playing up in Spain, and has now packed up completely.
It is an old boiler, whuch is fitted upright and has 3 legs. my garage says these are now obsolete, and parts unavailable.
A new one is £1500 plus fitting, rerouted electrics, pipework as needed.
He hasn't actually looked at it yet, to test it or measured up to see if the new one will fit in the space. It is in a cupboard below the wardrobe. I will take it over for him to look at.

Are there any cheaper alternatives to consider, I can probably manage without heating, when off grid, but i definitely want hot water for the shower etc.

Any thoughts appreciated.
