Trickle charger- help

Hi all
I have an eldiss autoquest 140. I have looked at some of the messages regarding maintaining the engine battery. And I’m still confused..
Can anyone recommend a good charger for trickle charging. Please.
Needs to be safe and easy to fit.

If you get the AA charger it will not start to charge if the voltage of the battery is less than 3 volts it will not charge.

If a 12V battery is down to 3V it is time to recycle, not recharge.

You can briefly connect a good battery to it, for a few seconds. That will probably raise the voltage high enough for the smart charger to kick in and start charging. As Pausim says, it might be beyond recovery if it's been left discharged for some time. But sometimes some batteries recover, especially if charged very slowly, ie with a trickle charger. Worth a try, anyway.
