Speechless? You’ve just given the longest reply. Anyway, what do you use other than hot air?😉

All comes down to weight! You would be surprised the difference between microfibre and towelling not to mention the difference in storage space. The items mentioned above are probably normally discussed by the men on here (whoops, oh dear, another argument😂) whereas the ladies usually have to deal with packing the essentials!😱😂

We got the fluffy microfibre ones from Mountain Warehouse which are great but then I bought a dry robe which is just so luxurious and practical as you can walk back to the van in it after swimming/shower …

Everyone seems to love micro fibre towels, as I did... until I discovered Turkish Peshtamel cotton ones

We used to have Decathlon Microfibres towels but then found the Mountain Warehouse ones, they are far nicer to use, they don’t feel cold when wet they feel more like a conventional towels, they dry very quickly and they seem to have a good life.
Did same as Two on Tour bought 3 Big ones and cut third one in half as face towels.
Do not use Fabric conditioner when washing them!

We use ikea VÅGSJÖN bath sheets. They roll up fairly small for storage of spares and are relatively quick drying. They’ve got a hoop for hanging on a hook which is handy too.

We use dryrobes towels (not the full on surfer ones) you just put them on like a hoody and your dry in no time without even drying yourself. I do use a microfibre one too for showering at work both dry quickly

Microfiber type towels have a horrid feel to them. Tried a standard bath towel in the pvc. Far too heavy for the hook thing on the door which lasted a fortnight.

Not perfect but have a dragons den approved Dock & Bay towel which does feel sort of OK and dries me and then does dry reasonably fast itself.

By ‘horrid feel’, do you mean like dry cotton wool, Kannon Fodda …..? o_O o_O ;)

I don‘t think any of us like them particularly they just take up less space and dry more quickly which is important for some of us with small vans. I doubt many people would choose to use them in their houses.

Funnily enough, we do….. (y) (y)

No plastic, clingy sort of foamy abnormal against skin yeuch. Micro fibre towels are an abomination.

Ah…..you mean the ‘smooth’ type of micro-fibre towel!
Yes, I agree - horrible slimey things they are!!! o_O o_O o_O

Use Turkish Peshtamel at home and in the van. Light, dry quickly after use, thicker ones can be a picnic rug or beach mat and I do sometimes use them as a tablecloth. After posting about failed springs, service costs, new tyres and poor breakdown cover I am enjoying the towel thread.

Mountain warehouse do some good micr fibre towels as do decathlon if your in Europe… but don’t wash them with conditioner and this is very important…..

DO NOT EVER DROP A MICRO FIBRE TOWEL as it picks up everything and you’ll picking out dirt for years…😎
Thanks for the recommendations.
