Morning all
We are currently searching for travel insurance to replace our Nationwide cover which is no longer viable for us.
Has anyone recently found a good deal?
We seem to keep coming across 45 day limits and we want 60.
Thank you in advance.

If you are old and/or have significant pre-existing medical conditions, cover will not be cheap for an annual policy with a 60-day trip limit. May be worth trying SAGA.

LV Premium allows 90 days per trip. Mrs B has a pre-existing condition, Angina. We pay £568 Europe wide annual cover.

Virgin

Have a read of the this

Thank you for your responses
We will check them out.
Basically NW has become too expensive and as we no longer need their breakdown cover or mobile phone cover we will be moving to their non fee paying account.
We are early 60s and one of us has an on going health issue which needs covering.
Best we have managed so far is
£329 for 62 days with Insure and escape EU only.

as Broadway says all clear 55 days world wide excluding usa /Caribbean

We use the euro tunnel insurance it covers all medical conditions without having to declare them, as long as you haven't been told not to travel. It must be taken out at the same time as your crossing. It covers you for the length of your trip. It costs about £34 per week for the 2 of us

We used to use that but won't cover us now we're over 70.

Insurewith seem ok, just taken with them for 56 days single policy, a fraction of the cost of elsewhere. Use a discount code- ce20 works.

Thank you all very much for taking the time to share your recommendations.
We now have 2 good quotes (Virgin and All Clear) but I just need to wait on the results of a medical test to find out if I need to declare it!

Did you try insure with? Neither of the companies you quoted covered me, but insurewith came up at £203 for 56 days which I thought was reasonable.

Can I ask if you've got an over 70s policy, and if so who with, how much and for how long (days abroad)? Am looking for myself as I'll be 71 this year. Am with Staysure currently but that limits me to 35 days only if I stay with them.

Try Total Travel Protection we had 84 days. Very good price, both over 70 with minor health issues, and over £400 less than Nationwide
