Tour of Germany and MH dealers

We will most likely wake up in the morning and find the car park full of cars and we won't be able to get out ha ha back to the cafe.

Or a market! as happened to us one morning this summer on lake Como:)

got me out of bed at 6 something:(

Well woke up this morning (that was a bonus straight away) it's just gone 8:15 am and the car park is very quiet still so I think we might become FLT's and just head into Utrecht for the day on the bike and stop here another night.
It's not a bad view out of the window.

Sound like a great trip, love all the pics you've posted thanx for sharing.

Half way down the beer I said "you know Andy @Techno100 would take a picture of this" so I did except that I had drunk half by then.

You definitely qualify as an optimist Martin calling that half-full.
A pessimist would have said it was three quarters empty!
have fun!

Sat watching a tree creeper while we had breakfast then cycled into Utrecht this morning, saw a kingfisher on the way so that was quite special.
image.jpg image.jpg Can you spot the bike.

Martin

Aye, it's the one with the carrier bag on the seat. I do that as well Martin, but ours usually has either a Morrisons or a Tesco logo on the bag

Jock, if ever you come cycling with my beloved and me, please make the effort to at least bring a 'Waitrose' bag, there's a love.

......:lips: from Jackie and one from me for Rita....... Griff

Thought Martin had a tandem Jock
Don't know Ken. Has he?
I just assumed with him being from "Oop Narf", he might be a bit of a tight git, re the poly bag saddle cover. ;)

Gordon Bennett Griff, only the elite can afford to shop in there.

Oi matey, I'm watching you . .......................

Cheers,

Jock. :)

For some reason I can't see it(dodgy Wi-Fi possibly).
I am guessing it's the video that we saw previewed at the factory, good in' it.

He has, but it was a general "look how many bloody bikes there are around here" ours was parked around the corner when I took this so I was quite impressed that Jock spotted it, then realised it was just the carrier bag on the seat bringing back memories.

I want to know how many bikes are deserted and not used now as some look in a sad state.

@JockandRita im not a tight git! I am just careful wi mi pocket money.

Anyway we moved this morning after a rather blowy second night in the car park outside Utrecht, a few branches came down some banging on the roof but all looks OK.

We are now at City Camp in Amsterdam so well and truly on our way home. €22 a night including electric and fast Wi-Fi, 10 minute walk down the road to a ferry across to the town centre, so will go explore soon.

Thanks for the video link @Dafydd thats the one we saw at the factory.

When they zoom into the factory at the beginning of the video you can see the Stellplatz and the big field at the front, that is where we all stay for the factory open weekend.

Martin

You would think I was a bit obsessed with bikes.

image.jpeg This is how they park them at Amsterdam central station.

image.jpeg And if you don't park properly this fella and his mate take your bike away and you have to go get it back and pay the fine, in his words "it a shit job but it needs doing".

image.jpeg Bamboo bicycles.

We did see some other sites in Amsterdam but neither the ladies in question nor my wife would let me take photos, shame really as I am sure some of you would have liked them.

Martin

Ps blowing a gale here, "if the vans rocking" it's only the wind.
