Dawn if you want a ride on Mikes bike at Lymington he will take you out on it. Try before you buy.
Yes. You will love it so will @Mr MousyIs it big?
You are a lost causeActually I only like the look of the monkey bike....in yellow please.
II deliberated long and hard over my/our choice of motorised transport, but storage and shopping practically had to win over style, yes a SH 300 would be great but It would be more of a squeeze in the garage especially with the "top box" on and it would be too fast to ride in lightweight clothing, I know I know we shouldn't
Martin
Does it come with rear peg's?

@Armytwowheels
I haven't had a motorbike before. I'm doing my CBT on the 8th August and my theory on the 16th. When I have done the CBT I will arrange the bike training for whatever test I need to take so I can take @Mousy on the back. Thank you for the offer of a go on your scooter ~ maybe you could give Dawn a ride as a passenger just to make sure the reality is as appealing as the idea.
If you are restricted by the weight of the bike on your van it maybe worth considering towing a bike trailer then you can choose what size bike to put on the back.

Thanks for the reply, I can understand your point.Apparently we've enough payload and a spacious garage. Really don't want the hassle of a trailer.
We do occasionally tow my car on an a frame but only in the UK
I predict much gnashing of teeth. "Oh why didn't I do this sooner ?".
Step away from the Monkey bike thenThanks so much everyone for the help and offers of a ride, perhaps we can form an orderly que at Lymington
Sorry I can't multi quote as I'm on my phone.
This is the look I'm hoping to avoid...

His parents were biking still into their 80's
But I was always worried about Martin coming off, so I said No...
no matter how good a rider you are there are some right idiots on the roads...along with all those motorhomers dripping their grey waste..
No problem.maybe you could give Dawn a ride as a passenger just to make sure the reality is as appealing as the idea.

Don't mess around with trailers, A frames, scooters & monkey bikes - solution here:

Only problem is it's electronically limited to 186 mph
Can't they just be chained to the bike or railings?
Oh, and who will be carrying the padlock and chain?
But he'll be riding the bike......
Photos PLEASE! Just got a rescue dog and was thinking my days of going out on the bike were over, but maybe not.By the way, we also take the dog on our scooter. The top box comes off and an adapted dog basket goes on
That's all Martin @Mr Mousy needs to know, you have made his day with that reply! Can I just offer my response and assistance to the posters who are concerned about where on a 2 wheeler to put shopping/helmets/etc.
A previous partner of mine could shop for England, if shopping were an Olympic sport she would have been a gold medallist
The cost of running her sports bike was about 2 grand a year, easily re-cooped as she could not carry any shopping on it - saved me a fortune
