Now don’t forget, this is pretty similar to being gassed in a French service station.

List of those things lost in the garage:
Prize racing pigeons
Gold Rolex
IPad
Iphone
€2000
Wallets
Laptops
Gucci handbag and matching shoes
Jewellery
Porsche
Merc-G Waggon
Small plane
Helicopter
Set of exotic rare Ming vases
Anything else you need to add
👍🏻
How did you know that I kept all that stuff in our double garage?
I've also got two left foot wellies, a bucket with a hole in it, some flat leisure batteries & an out of date pack of condoms dated 1976!

We have a red alert from 10am to 5pm tomorrow. Our school (independent) is shutting for the day for the first time that I remember in 24 years. We are right on the west coast though 🤔. About to go sort out all the outside moveables and tie the bins to a gate ..
Same here schools closed, buses not running, shops closed, non urgent hospital appointments cancelled. Daughter lives 5 mins from her work so she is emergency staff as work not opening, she is going in at 6 am hopefully finish at 9. 30am. My static is also in red area hope the chain holds.

We are in the red zone too. Fingers crossed it won't be too bad. 😬😬😬

My daughter has just let me know she isn't at work tomorrow as no buses will be running and the schools are closed. She drives the school bus.

We are on the Red Zone. Our MH is parked in front of our house and a hotel. We live on top of a cliff on the North Sea coast and the prevailing winds usually hit us at the back of our house. The storm, following Arwen, took the roofs off of my two neighbouring houses. The hotel had some roof repairs over the summer. I’m hoping that the buildings will provide some shelter from the winds and that nothing blows off of them. However, I have another option, and I’m wondering if I should park, facing the wind, in the car park of the park behind my house, lower the stabilisers and let the MH brave the storm without the risk of slates and roof joists hitting it?
