At 0915 tomorrow we have the handover of our new to us MH.

It has been the longest 9 weeks ever from putting the deposit down(at Marquis Durham) to getting the defects rectified, but tomorrow our new lifestyle and adventure begins!
Hope to meet all the kind people on here who have given freely their advice and time.
Thank you all again
Ashley & Ian

Battern down the hatches it's a tad windy. I remember last June when I picked ours up all excited 2pm handover, 6pm France, 8.30pm changing my wheel as I had a puncture. But the memories of the first trip out was and still is embedded. Enjoy.

No doubt we will hear today how it all went. I was excited for them yesterday. Bet they loved last night even with the wind and rain. The first few nights are always special.

First outing was just to Durham CC site just 10 miles from Marquis dealership. Had a brilliant nights sleep, our normal breakfast of Greek yoghurt/Muesli/blueberries and a lovely glass of celebration red wine

Probably in their new van right now.

We all remember those first few hours don't we?

Strange, I am excited for them!

We wait to learn how it went.

JJ
All went very well, after we badgered Marquis to properly complete a couple of defects they had skimped on, drove like a dream and it seems so unbelievably quickly a fantastic relaxing home from home

Nope only managed the 10 planned. This was to be close to the dealership in case of any unexpected problems.Fortunately no problems at all so far.

Hi you two, ours is called Ruby too, because it was our Ruby wedding anniversary present to ourselves, I'm sure you'll have as much fun as the rest of us do. My best mate said I should have called it Frank....

....I didn't dare call it Frankie, folks might have thought I had designs on some French bird.....(y)
