Got to disagree with this. It’s to do with the height of the moho, our 2.9 mtr high 5250kg tag axle goes through every toll booth as class 2. Anything over 3mtrs you have to tell them it’s a camping car on the intercom. It depends on your vehicle and the route you intend to take. Under 3500kgs van (class 2)
That doesn’t work or never has for meGot to disagree with this. It’s to do with the height of the moho, our 2.9 mtr high 5250kg tag axle goes through every toll booth as class 2. Anything over 3mtrs you have to tell them it’s a camping car on the intercom.

Sorry about that but it does for us, every time in France and Spain. 2.9 mtrs high, 8mtrs long, tag axle, 5250kgs, class 2 no arguments. That doesn’t work or never has for me
Not really, I can only say what happens for us.I suspect this thread is opening a can of worms
Never had a problem with a credit card at the tolls.Ok - we will be rocking up to the pay booths, under 3m and provided the dam credit card works then the booth should recognise the van as class 2. Have I got that right ?
Of the police stop you . They check your V5How do they know the gross weight of the van - my van would look the same as a 3500 although it’s 3850kgs?

Worked for me 95% of the time when we had the 5t tag Burstner.Got to disagree with this. It’s to do with the height of the moho, our 2.9 mtr high 5250kg tag axle goes through every toll booth as class 2. Anything over 3mtrs you have to tell them it’s a camping car on the intercom.
Wish I could lower the tv Ariel would bring us down to 2.99m
