Hello it’s me again - just wondering what toilet fluid is the best - there seems quite a lot of different makes with varying prices - don’t want to waste money unnecessarily.
Thank you J&S

It’s crap, we all do it with differing levels of smell. And if you don’t crap you will die so get on with it and embrace

Always use Blue Diamond ‘green’ and stock up with it from Aldi each year when it comes into their middle isle. Much prefer the scent to the well known brands and definitely prefer the price.!!

Elsan organic green is my latest choice.Seems thicker and up to now works well.Pleasant aroma and less in your face than some of the blue stuff.

Always bio washing liquid, Lidl or whatevers cheapest. Vital to remove any trace of blue fluid before it will work.
If only urine it will tend to smell, a bit of sh1t is needed to work properly. Try to avoid rinsing when emptying unless clogged.
Used this for a great many years.

Hmmmm, does it go in the cassette or do you splash it all over……

After using all sorts of toilet fluid including bio washing liquid blue stuff green stuff etc, I have just started using this https://www.solbio.co.uk/ early days but so far I have found it good in that it smells ok and breaks down 💩 quite effectively
Is there any special prep of the cassette required before you started using this please 🤷🏼‍♂️

Another fan of Bio tabs but you must remove all traces of chemicals first as they kill the bio process. In the hottest places we have sometimes used two tabs. Whenever the sensitive nose detects odours there is invarioubly another cause.
The original Blue stuff is going out of fashion I hope, as it can harm the environment.
Bio washing liquid doesn’t mean it’s environmentally friendly ⚠️
Most have warnings on it about danger to aquatic life and many aren’t suitable for septic tanks ⚠️

They recommend filling with water and adding A dose of Solbio and letting it stand for 24 hours. Gives the bio side a kick start.
Worked for us.
Any traces of other stuff will slow or halt the bio process as I understand it so if you are investing in using the product then it’s worth following the instructions.

Bio washing gel pod, Lidl or Aldi whichever is the cheapest.
We've been doing the same, bio pod in the cassette, and a glug of zoflora in the flush water. Easy, cheap, effective (y):giggle:

Does that mean that people who have a septic tank can't do washing at home?

I used to install not only septic tanks but also small packaged sewerage treatment plants and yes the advice was not to use products containing certain enzymes.
I just think people misunderstand what Bio actually means.

We use Thetford aquachem single dose sachets. Don’t like toilet liquids, concerned about spillage and where best to keep bottle. Tub of sachets can go easily in the clean8 g cupboard inside the van, so easy to dose the loo!

Lidl's Formil bio washing pods(green box). Have a SOG toilet that vents through the roof so it keeps giraffes at a safe distance.
