Interested in knowing how many on here tow a car either on trailer or using an A frame.
I suppose it’s each to their own really . Personally towing a small car for us was a game changer. We tow a small hyundai i 10 on an A frame with electronic braking. We have all the convenience of a Motorhome with the added freedom of a car if we so desire . Having had both a MH and a car & caravan I can honestly say towing a car is easier . It’s far more stable than a single axle caravan and easier to move around. No pushing or pulling , just drive it ! We mainly holiday in the UK where A Frames are accepted. We do understand all the points about hiring a car and yes that is fine but we don’t plan that far in advance to pre book cars and at busy times and rural locations hire cars may not be an option. As I say it’s all about what works for you and how you holiday …. For us , towing a little car is hassle free and gives us so much more flexibility. We can attach our A frame and be hitched up in less than 8 minutes. Honestly it really is no trouble. You can also store bulky items in the car and you also have the added peace of mind that if your MH breaks down , you have a car to go for help if needed.

How much is one of these illegal toads, plus the small car etc etc, I'm thinking you can hire a lot of cars for the equivalent amount. and not have the storage/towing hassle extra ferry costs etc etc.
Well I bought a 2006 Hyundai Amica from a forum member 6 years ago with electronic braking £1000.00 still going great. Even handier now as lost C1 18 months ago and had to go down to 3500kg car is a handy trailer for the extra weight. Oh nothing illegal about them.

How much is it going to cost to have a tow bar fitted? the cost of the car depends where you pitch your needs, a toad and or trailer comes in at how much, for those that have a tow car do they also have a bigger car for their everyday needs, if not you still have service and running costs, I'm pretty certain you can hire a lot of vehicles for that sort of money and not have the hassle of storing or towing.
As already said one size doesn't fit all and towing a vehicle behind a motorhome just doesn't suit us, though we accept is perfect for others.

Lightweight motorcycle on my van, much better than a car, no queueing, park anywhere, 5 seconds to 60, and fun to ride 🤩

Used to be tuggers went right off towing that's why we bought a Motorhome. That was 16 years ago never missed not having a car.
We rarely stop anywhere for more than a couple of nights just take the Motorhome to where we want to visit rarely ever a problem to find parking near where we want to visit, otherwise we use our e-bikes or public transport.
Don't bother with UK anymore.

Just been down to the compound to collect Billy the Bailey, put the car on the trailer and now home loading up for tomorrows off.
2pm ish choo choo.
No faffing:LOL:(y);)
