It looks to me as though you have zoomed in too much.
Hold down Ctrl & press the - key see if that changes it.
Ctrl plus + does the opposite

Are you sure it's not the browser text size?

I ask because when I change my text size in firefox I get this, which looks similar to the problem you are having...
