I’m struggling to find a suitable mounting for my TomTom on my new van. It’s a new Ducato and doesn’t have the thingy that folds up to hold your ipad or whatever. I’m looking at the beanbag mount as a possible, but can’t find dimensions and TomTom product support is worse than useless. Anybody use one?

Try Brodit, first you need a proclip for att to the dash.....

Then you need a tom tom mount, depends which model you have....

FWIW we use the TomTom suction mount to place it top right of the windscreen, viewed from inside. That places it outside of the wiper radius (mostly). Works for us.

I find that the Brodit mount works very well and the sat nap is within easy eyesight and easily reachable too, not when driving of course.

Looks like it might be very close to the auto gear shift when fitted, is that ok?

Another vote for Brodit. Used these for many years. We have the centre mount on a Ducato manual gearbox, no problems with the gearstick.

Mine is on a suction thing stuck to the windscreen at eye level but on the extreme right hand side.

I use one like THIS.
It fits in the CD slot.

We use a bean bag type mount in our Ducato PVC which works quite well. The base of ours measures 19 cm wide and about 16 cm deep.

I have one of these in the car and it works very well. Would use it in the moho but we already have the thingy that fold up: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16622323...pid=5339023013&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1

I use a bean bag mount and have glued a smooth piece of perspex to it to make a firm base for the windscreen mount that comes with the sat nav.

Just bought one of these, it clips onto the top of the instrument binnacle. I got it to hold my mobile phone when it’s operating as my GPS speedo.

£10 beanbag from Amazon which did slip a bit, so cut some non slip silicon matting and all works a treat.
