Thursday night, commencing around 10pm we will be working on our server. Nothing drastic, but it will require us shutting the forum for much of the night, the forum will open and close quite a bit through the night, and if you post anything after 10pm it might well disappear forever. Friday morning, all being well, the forum will be up running and waiting for you. (y)

OK we're back online. We've upgraded the forum core software, something we've been putting off for a while. It's running OK, however a lot of our custom stuff needs tweaking and we'll get to that over the weekend. Search is crocked, and hopefully, we'll fix that soon too. Double and triple posts everywhere. But all the core features enabling you to post are working.

We know what's not quite right yet, so no need to tell us, however if things are still wrong come Monday, then please shout up here then.

thank you Jim for all you do to keep us getting our fix of fun.
looks like my iPad is no longer compatible with the changes, no reply box being the main problem..
thankfully I can get on with my phone although tiny screen and keyboard is a nightmare along with a few glitches but my old iPad is screwed with the changes unless come Monday it’s back to normal..
time for me to start saving for a new ‘un maybe..

Jim has already noted that problem in his forum down thread, he’ll be on it soonest when he’s had some sleep I’m sure along with the other glitches too..
 
After last night’s update that irritating light bulb next to the bell symbol is missing ,long may it stay that way🙂 fed up with my fat fingers hitting the wrong icon☹️

I usually get caught when using my iPad because light bulb is in place where ‘what’s new ‘ button on my phone
I hope it stays gone also
 
I have to say that I prefer the dark screen. Is there another way of choosing this? In which case, I don’t mind the bulb’s disappearance. 👍

I just spent 10 minutes closing and reloading ‘Fun’ ‘cos I thought my iPad display was ‘off’….!!!!:p
