Anyone any views/experience on comparison between these two items?

We’re looking for items which will give option of keeping heat of the French sun off us/van in summer but also reducing breeze/wind when we’re sitting out as we often travel during spring/autumn etc. Don’t want a full ‘room’.

Prob look for a sun blocker type for the front of the awning as it reduces but doesn’t stop sun/breeze and can still see out. Considering one side view blocker to stop sun/wind.
The sun blocker is made from a micro-air fabric which lets wind through…. but to what extent? The side view blocker is made from pvc so no breeze etc.

Appreciate any thoughts….

We have the sun Thule sun blocker which is very good, the mesh allows a nice flow of cooler air into the awning area. It also helps to keep that side of the van cooler.

We have the two set up as you suggest. We use the sun blocker quite often although in very hot weather and direct sun on the mesh it still gets rather warm under the awning. The view blocker is ideal if wind or driving rain is coming from the side. Unfortunately the position of our hab door and awning length means we can only really use it at front end.

We have two sun blocker panels front and side. Not only block sun but also visuals into the awning. Not so good when raining but that's not very often. We've a panorama room for colder and wet weather.

Thanks………If you were buying again would you consider a view blocker…..for windier/wetter weather?
