Well travelled
The step (single) shoots out quite fast with a right old clatter, like it's hitting the stop too fast. On our previous motorhomes the steps have come out fairly slowly and quietly. But when this one comes out we certainly know about it. I've looked at it and can't see any damage or anything wrong.

Is there a way to slow it down ? or stop it making so much noise ? should it have some rubber bump stops on it ?

Ours comes to a stop with a loud clunk as well.

The step on our 2014 Auto-Sleeper Stanton has developed a chatter at the end of it stroke, as per video ( sound required). As we've only had the van 10 months I've reported it to the dealer and am awaiting their reply....

This is the step on our old Nuevo EL which appears to be operating properly.
