some of them are watchable for the right reasons and I would rather they have the YouTube money than some overpaid BBC “talent”. I get get fed up of watching sports programmes where there are 20 people on the ground instead of 2 commentators and The News which is the same again.
Hubby is into snooker (goes on all day), F1 goes on for days, road race cycling (goes on for weeks) so I retreat somewhere comfy with ipad and kindle.

Yeah if you like these sort of things there are many similar ones and yes I also like watching them but it's getting now that there are so many of them, they are all trying the same things but have to then go into the realms of fantasy to find something new.

This latest one is completely for the tube thing, there was never a hope in hell that she was going to do it.
Others around them have trained for months to do a 500 k trek with very little luggage and the bare necessities with all the hiking kit.
This pair had no idea they were going to do it till their van broke down again two days earlier.
They roll up with massive bags full of cameras and stuff in flip flops with no forward planning, no where booked for the nights .
Wow, lo and behold she gets blisters on her feet, who then gets treated by a fellow hiker who they don't know from Adam and doesn't speak English who decides she can't go on .
I must confess I gave up there so what is happening now I don't know.
They both want locking up for their own safety.

There was definitely a clue in the title and the post. It was obvious to anyone that had heard of them or seen them. If you didn't get it then it really wouldn't matter.

And don't forget allowing the stranger to string all her blisters together with thread to ensure all the fluid was out???? Wtf. He's soon going to realise that northern Spain in November isn't the place for flip flops and shorts, or is he?

I have got to say even though I give up being a subscriber about two years ago it still comes up on my YouTube thing and I just cant resist seeing what the hell he's upto next.
But even in this one where she is lying there in pain he can't resist pushing some sort of snake oil.

There's a few I watch off and on , project Amber is one of them. He annoyed me during covid with his daft escape to Scotland episode and I still think he exaggerates things for clicks but overall he's one of the best ones who really does do fulltime vanlife, although I do think he has the benefit of a few quid behind him.

I saw the stealth furniture van sticking out like a sore thumb in a camping field the weekend it died when they left. They were parked in a circle with 3 or 4 other vans, you could see and hear him, didn't see or hear her, although they said they had spent time camping with friends.

The following weekend the other vans were back and I walked by with my 4 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback and they wanted to say hello to him, so I got chatting. I said their friend had been a bit unlucky and they rolled their eyes and said he doesn't listen to anyone. About sums up the way it looks on YT.

Everything he does turns to disaster but she keeps supporting him and saying everything is wonderful, but she certainly doesn't look as happy as she did at the start when she used to say as much as him but he just seems to be running the whole thing.

I agree with nearly every negative comment here but… his last two vlogs contain nuggets of information that do not feature the excellent film “The Way” or other vlogs and programmes about the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. He describes the process of arrival in St Jean Pied de Port, the registration process, their first night in town and explains the planned legs of the journey very well, and adds that all pilgrims must display a clam shell.
My problem with him is his constant apparent naivety (maybe his hook), his click bait titles - but, regarding the latter, show me a You Tuber who doesn’t have click bait titles… the Roaming Radfords explain the need for these very well in a recent Vlog - boring title = loss of subscribers/viewers.
I suppose we know they are exaggerations/dramatisations but some of us can’t resist a peak. That’s my vice, others watch Soaps

A mate says I am simply jealous as my £14 action cam takes pretty rubbish videos and I can't be arsed to edit them! Plus the mount for the windscreen means it has to be upside down!

So recently the Radfords have got the unsub. Next to go Travel Trolls! Both of then became so insufferable!

It's his Mrs I feel sorry for, it's bad enough watching him pontificating half a hour a week but having to put up with him all the time must be enough to send over the edge.
And as to the van, I know noone likes to hear I told you so on here but I think if we look back we all knew where it would end a couple of years ago.
Amazing it's lasted this long.
But you can guarantee there will be plenty willing to help them for free just to get on YouTube.

There is always Tread the Globe. I only got into You tube and in particular Kinging It doing their India tour, when in hospital for 4 weeks last year, strapped to the bed with heart trace leads but with great wifi and my ipad.
