It will be a fairly short quiz of 3/4 rounds unless the assembled masses want more.

I will have some pens and paper.

When we get onto music, if anything wants anything in particular, please let me know? Anything really obscure, please PM me as I only carry digitised music these days. Have tons of other stuff on albums and singles that I can digitise during the day and add to the library. .

Dave suggested 7:30 for music and a 8pm start for the quiz with music afterwards. Depends what bit you think will inflict the pain? The thinking or the dancing? Or both? That's a thought, Maybe I should get you to all answer quiz questions while dancing?

Me and Yvette are aiming to get there around 7.15, just enough time to get settled in before I collect our pizzas. I dint think w have exclusive use of the main room but it wouldn't hurt if a few locals helped to make the numbers up and reduce the echo ...lol

Would have loved to be there, ho hum such is life. We had our own excitement yesterday, just out of Reading Services, engine died nothing. The part of motorway is under repair and the hard shoulder is coned off, yep I made it in without touching a cone. Highway Patrol on us like a cat on a kipper. Very nice but stupid question like why are you parked here? Free recovery to back of Reading shopping area. Yay great now wait for breakdown to turn up as it is tipping down so I won't look my self. Well idiot turns up pumps primer and it starts, tells me to drive off it is fixed, I point out the river of Diesel on the road. Oh that's oil he says. Told him I'm not driving anywhere with fuel leaking. He goes, back on the phone and then there is trouble getting a bed big enough and a Police car is involved in an accident, yep closing the M4, agent is on his way. Got home at 1.30 a.m. Bonnet up this morning 2 minutes and problem fixed, broken plastic clip replaced with an old one and sorted. What fuel I saved in not driving the last leg was lost by idiot pumping it out.

Rita and I absolutely concur with Elaine. It was a smashing night, in great company, with the winnings, (from the winning team consisting of Merv and Pauline, JockandRita, Just smiffy, Debs, and RAM), going to a good charitable cause.

Thanks but in reality it was all down to meanders, who kept things moving along and donated their time to keep 'us lot' entertained for the evening. I also secretly suspect some of the locals wished they had joined in, though from the answers they were whispering they would have scored less than our crew!

But for me, what a cracking result ... The first music question that I have ever got right on my own, I have known previous answers, but so did everyone else, this was the first time it was my answer on my own ....( Thanks to a misspent youth) though unfortunately for me the only way now is down ...
