This weekend

We might just do that ! When we go we stay on the hard standing , where the bread van parks up to sell his wares.
We often just turn up or leave it till the last minute and like that spot. In the summer the dogs can sit in the shade of the trees.
As for the White Hart pub, we've never had a bad meal there yet:thumb:

Off to Rome on Sunday for 5 nights.

Back in time for Wales v France Friday night:thumb:

It took meticulous planning without my wife catching on.

 We're off cruising the Caribbean for 2 weeks from Sunday........will make a change from the weather we've had in the MH in New Forest the past week.
Mind you both places could have Sandy Balls :Eek!:

Sophie and me are off skiing to glencoe on Sunday and poor Lorraine has to stay at home due to work:Rofl1::Rofl1:.

We will be wild camping and have already emailed the relevant pubs asking permission so nice cold pints after a days skiing ideal.

Love skiing Glencoe
If you look at motorhomeski.com you will see my review for Glencoe. Loads of snow too.

Also check out http://ski.visitscotland.com/ for up to date weather reports, and road closures which are all too common.

The wind can be a killer up there but TBH we have mainly been quite fortunate with the weather..
The Lecht is my favorite Scottish resort.

Love Glencoe too but moved away when I was too young to appreciate it.
We are off to Eastern France, Rhone Alps area to see if the vans water supply freezes!

On Saturday I shall be manning a trader's table at a local Vintage market selling high quality collectables to discerning buyers.

On Sunday I shall be rooting around for bargains at my favourite source of pre-owned bric-a-brac.

No connection between the two - honest

Just wondered if you are on site. We live not far away and we've had an horrendous night. Gales have ripped our roof ridge tiles and slates off our house and trees are uprooted etc. The house sounded like an express train was on a track outside. We thought a tornado was outside and the noise was deafening. Our roof seemed to lift and drop with a deafening thud. It has quietened now. Just reading the forum and remembered you were having a quiet relaxing weekend? away. Hope it hasn't affected you and you are safe :thumb:

This coming weekend we're off to the Folkestone CC site for 2 nights. Got a groupon meal booked at an Italian in Folkestone for Saturday lunchtime - yummy (I hope). Hopefully the weather will be kinder this time.

Buying a car for Jacob our 19 year old. He's passed 1st time with only 3 minors.:thumb:
He's saved up 70% of the cash , so it's not too bad.

Going over to The Scarborough Fair Collection at Lebberston Cliff, near Filey (Flower of May Holiday Park) to start working on the traction engines.
They are due their annual test ready for the coming season.

Broken Link Removed

It was a movie about a long motorhome getting stuck! I think he eventually reversed down the hill.

Some great other clips to watch too! Inc a submersible MH great for very very flat water! :thumb:

Last time we went to the Guy Fawkes pub (10 minutes walk) which had just got a tenant landlord after many managers and near closure. He certainly put life back into it and the food is awesome. I hope he's still in business
