Marauder, just watched this short video of a scam electrical device from China, as you say, has CE and ROHS markings moulded onto it, but is a total scam and possibly a hazard too ?I'm

yesterday I visited my brother he was chatting to his next door chapy who was fixing a new diesel heater.
My brother has just fitted one of those in my statick my brother says to him he can come over and give you some help he basically told him to fcxxxof
We’re siting having a beer it getting dark and a bit chilly so we start up the diesel heater I fitted in my brothers van.
drapes open lights down low just chatting away when there’s this blue flash and a bang and all the lights go out.
Followed by my brother saying what the f was that.
My reply in a fit of giggles diesel hetter 240 volts
His wife screaming at him what the xxxxxxx you xxxxxxx done.
All I can say is thank god for RCD
And tranquillisers I don’t think his wife is going to get over it any time soon
Haven’t seen the aftermath of the incident boath myself and the brother thought it was best to not show to mutch interest as we could not stop laughing.
It brought back memories of my brother trying to make a electric guitar I was only about five or six watching my big brother wire up a acoustic guitar to a plug socket straight to the strings
A big flash and a bang the guitar flying across the room.
The worst part was when my other big brother came home from the royal marine at Arbroath wanting to know what happened to his guitar
We laughed about that tonight so mutch
Time to hit the hay now had enough excitement for on night.
